Just For Fun Cards

Hello there, crafty friends. I have three cards to share that I recently created just for fun. I usually have deadlines but I carved out some time just to play with some products that I’ve wanted to play with for awhile…

To create the first card…

I cut out THIS palette die twice to create the card base. I cut the top layer from THIS woodgrain card stock for some added texture. I stamped the images from THIS stamp set and colored them in with Copics. I used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I white heat embossed a sentiment from he same set on THIS black glossy paper. I cut the paint blobs using patterned paper and added a coat of crystal glaze on top for some shine.

I scored the top of the inside panel and adhered adhesive above the score line to create a hinge…
For the second card…

I created a quick background by dabbing on blobs of acrylic paint in different colors. I die-cut it using THIS die and added a black glossy cardstock mat. I die-cut THIS paint brush die and added more images from THIS stamp set. I stamped a sentiment from an older SSS Crafty Friends stamp set…

For the final card…

I painted stripes of color for the background and cut the panel with THIS die. I added a sentiment and images from THIS stamp set and adhered everything on to a kraft card base.
It was hard to photograph but I added some “glitter” using THIS glitter pen…

I hope this has inspired you to carve out some craft time just for fun.

Thank you for visiting. Have a great day.
