Patterned Paper Spring Plush Cards

Hello and thanks for joining me today. I have two card shares featuring Simon Says Stamp’s Plush Dies. I wanted to use them for more than just their intended purpose…so I decided to try a shaped card after seeing THIS video from the amazing Laura Bassen. I used THIS chicken plush die to create this card…

I wanted it to swivel open, so I used a brad for the chicken’s eye. It holds the card in place and allows it to swing open to reveal THIS greeting…

For these cards, I broke out my stash of patterned paper. I love to “collect” patterned paper but don’t use it that often. If you’re like me, I encourage you to break it out and use it with your die-cutting to make quick cards.
