Hello friends. Easter is just a few weeks away so I thought I would create a card for the occasion. I used lots of die-cuts in my stash to decorate some felt eggs…
I started with THIS egg shaped die and cut it from several colors of felt and white cardstock. I adhered the white cardstock behind each egg shape for more stability. I decorated the eggs with several dies. I used THIS die to create the scallops on the first egg and THIS die to create the stripes on the bottom egg. I also used THIS heart die to decorate the blue egg. I used some older dies that created tiny circles and hearts that I used to decorate the remaining eggs.
For the background, I used THIS stamp set and left it on the packaging and stamped it using THIS ink for a tone on tone background. It’s a great way to stretch the use of the set! Here’s a closer look…
I finished off the card by heat embossing a sentiment from THIS stamp set. I used THIS foam tape to add dimension to the eggs and adhered the panel down to one of THESE note cards.
I hope this has inspired you to break out your dies and decorate some eggs!
