Wavy Scallop Stitches Dies can be found HERE |
I used THIS stencil and THIS ink to create the background. I kept the dies together and die-cut the image twice…once from THIS cardstock and once from THIS cardstock to represent sand and water. I just love how they nestle into one another….definitely my favorite product from the release!
I stamped the sailboat image from THIS set using some patterned paper from THIS kit and some of THIS cardstock. After fussy cutting it, I adhered it behind the first wave and added a heart from the stickers in THIS kit.
I stamped the sand with a background from THIS set using THIS ink. I also added highlights with THIS white pen. I finished off the card by die-cutting THIS die and white heat embossing a coordinating greeting.
A closer look…

How do they work? You write your message on one of the post it notes, place it inside your card, and your recipient can peel it off and send the card on. I love sharing handmade kindness so I’ve decided to give away three of these post it pads. Leave a comment telling me your favorite product from the Splash of Color release by midnight on Sunday, July 26th EST for a chance to win. I will pick three winners. Good Luck!

My favorite product from the release is the post-it notes….I think the idea of using them is so cool. Many times I thought to myself ….write my name in pencil when sending out a card…the recipient could then erase it and send the card on. So I like the purpose of the post it notes. Also the new inks…WOW!
