Hi! I have two cards to share with you today that I created using the Simon Says Stamp’s August card kit, Summer Sunshine…
Here’s the first card…
I started by stamping the Hello sentiment from the kit’s stamp set using THIS ink on to a piece of THIS paper. I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I added water to several different distress ink colors and added the watercolor around each letter. The distress colors matched the patterned paper perfectly! I die-cut the piece using the largest heart from THIS die set. I adhered it to a piece of patterned paper from the kit and added a sentiment stamped with THIS ink and then clear heat embossed.
I finished off the card by adding small hearts punched out of the sparkly cardstock included in the kit. I added a coat of glossy accents on top for some shine…
The paper pad has a few sheets with small squares of patterns. I chose a cloud one and used that for inside my shaker window. I used THIS die to frame it out, stamped the greeting in THIS ink, and added a few drops of color along with some glossy accent dots to finish off the card.
