Hello, crafty friends. Recently, I attended Stampaway (a yearly local stamping convention) and purchased some fun products. One of them was THIS reversible sequin fabric. I used it today to create some simple interactive cards…
I started by die-cutting the panels with THIS stitched rectangle die. I die-cut THIS balloon shape on one card and THIS heart shape on the other. I heat embossed sentiments from THIS and THIS stamp set. I cut a piece of THIS reversible sequin fabric to fit behind the die-cut window and adhered it to the card base with THIS strong adhesive. I adhered the panel on top of the sequin fabric, sandwiching the sequin between it and the card base.
When the recipient runs their finger over the sequins, it changes to a different color. Here’s a closer look…
The booth where I purchased the fabric was also giving away a small little stamp that told the recipient what to do with the sequins. I don’t think it’s available for sale, but I paired it up with an arrow from THIS stamp set on the black card. You could always hand write that same message inside the card like I did for the blue card…
I used the rainbow sequins on today’s cards, but there are other color options HERE.
I hope you will give this a try. It’s a quick and easy way to create a fun interactive card.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Stampaway? I was there too! I live in West Chester so I’m really close. I didn’t get to attend classes this year but the show on Saturday was crazy and fun.
