Ink Blot Shop Release Inspiration

Hello there, crafty friends. I have more inspiration to share using the new release from the Ink Blot Shop…
To create these cards, I started by stamping the drink images from THIS stamp set, coloring them with Copics, and cutting them out. I like to use a black sharpie marker along the edges to give a cleaner look to my fussy cutting.

For the first card…
I cut three strips of colored cardstock and adhered them to a side folding card base. I stamped THIS background on yellow cardstock, used a rectangle die to cut it out, and adhered it on top of the colored strips. I adhered three lemonade drinks in the center and stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set. I finished off the card by adding glossy accents to the i e cubes and straws.
For the second card…

I stamped THIS background stamp, cut it with the same rectangle die and adhered it to a teal mat. I added the sundae images on top and stamped the same sentiment as the first card. I added THIS shimmer pen to the sundae dishes and glossy accents to the cherries and straws.

For the last card…
I stamped THIS background stamp on pink cardstock using a circle mask in the middle of the cardstock to give an open area for THIS stamp set to be stamped in. I used the same circle die to dry emboss a circle (using THIS mat with my embossing machine) around the stamped scribbles for added definition. I used the same rectangle die to cut it out and added the bubble tea images in the center of the circle. After stamping the same sentiment, I used glossy accents for some shine and adhered the panel to a gray mat.

One more thing…

A portion of the sales (15%) of the Hot & Cold Drinks stamp set and the Citrus Squeeze Background stamp will be donated to the Write With Light Project for retail sales placed at Ink Blot Shop through May 31, 2023. The Write With Light Project is a nonprofit organization that raises money to improve the lives of those struggling with rare conditions. In 2023, in honor of a spunky heart warrior named Sunley, profits will go toward the Fontan Go Clinic at Texas Children’s Hospital. This will provide specialty care for anyone who has had a Fontan procedure.
