Hi there, crafty friends. I’ve been dying to use THIS stamp set from Concord & 9th. It’s one of my favorites from this year!

""

I started by creating a top folding note card using THIS card stock. I stamped THIS background stamp on the front panel using THIS clear ink. I stamped it several times using my MISTI to make it darker. For the background, I started with a piece of THIS and applied some of THESE watercolors to it. I placed a piece of saran wrap on top and removed it once dry to create texture. I white heat embossed the same snowflake background on top and added a spray of THIS for some extra shine. Once it was dry, I die-cut the piece using THIS die. I adhered the piece to the kraft note card using THIS for dimension.

I stamped, colored, and cut out the girl image from THIS stamp set and adhered it to the background along with THESE sequins…

I finished off the card by adding THIS to the girl’s glasses and a white heat embossed sentiment strip stamped from THIS stamp set.

I hope this has inspired you to add layers of texture on your next background.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.
