It’s the last Wednesday of the month and that means it’s my last guest spot over on the Simon Says Stamp’s Wednesday Challenge Blog. Sniff…Sniff. I’m sure going to miss it. It’s been so much fun.

The challenge for this week is “Anything Goes” featuring Spectrum Noir products. I decided to make two different cards with the same design, just mixing up the color scheme…

I cut THIS die out of THIS and THIS cardstock and heat embossed the greetings from THIS set using white embossing powder. I colored some white string a coordinating color with my Spectrum Noir Markers and tied it around each balloon. I attached the pieces to a panel cut from THIS cardstock as well as a border strip along the bottom of the card.

Here’s a closer look at the stars…

To create these, I used THIS die and cut out the star images out of white fun foam. I suggest purchasing white because you can transform the color by using markers. I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color the stars and adhered them to the card panel using some of THIS adhesive. I covered them with Glossy Accents, which gives them a unique look.

NOTE: I didn’t have any trouble with my Spectrum Noir Markers after coloring the fun foam. However, if you are unsure about possibly damaging your markers, I would encourage you to try some inexpensive permanent markers. Oh, and Crayola Markers do not work for this technique because it smears.
