Hello and Happy Monday. I’m excited to be sharing a few cards today in celebration of the My Monthly Hero kit release for October. I’m actually only showcasing THIS add-on set on my cards, but you can find the main kit HERE.

I kept the design of all three cards the same, just changed up the colors and orientation. I stamped the scene using black ink on to watercolor cardstock and then stamped the images again on THIS masking paper. I cut them out using THESE scissors and placed them on top of the images. I applied a variety of different Distress Ink colors for the backgrounds and then removed the masks and used THESE markers to color in the images.

I embossed all the card bases with THIS stencil using THIS embossing pad with my Big Shot machine. I love the texture it gives…

I used glitter paper to mat each heart scene. I used THESE nesting heart dies.

I made sure to add a lot of THIS for some sparkle and shine.
