Howdy, crafty friends. I’m taking THIS Stenciled 2 class over at Online Card Classes and was inspired by the first day of class. Jennifer McGuire taught a lesson about rotating your stencils for a new look… For the second card… I hope you are inspired to stretch the use of your stencils to get a whole new look.

You can find out more information about the Stenciled 2 class over at Online Card Classes HERE.

Thank you for joining me today. Happy crafting!

LINKS TO SUPPLIES USED:

For the first card…

I applied pink ink through THIS Mermaid Scales stencil on a white A2 carstock panel. I flipped the stencil upside down and applied blue ink through the same stencil, creating a whole new look…

Where the two colors overlap, I get a purple color. I love how you can get a whole new look from your stencils just by rotating them. I adhered a thin, black mat cardstock around the edges and die cut one of THESE hearts in the bottom right corner. I traced the opening of the heart on to the spot on the card base and cut the heart there too. This creates a window…

I die cut THIS hugs word from THIS specialty black cardstock three times, adhered them together, and placed it on the inside of the card panel…

I finished off the front of the card with a sentiment from THIS pack as well as a sprinkling of THESE die cut hearts as well THESE embellishments.

I applied blue and yellow ink through THIS stencil and then flipped it 90 degrees and did the same thing to create a whole new pattern. I love the green color where the yellow and blue overlap…

I finished off the card with THIS die cut sentiment as well as THIS sub sentiment. I also added a sprinkling of THESE die cut stars.
