Howdy, crafty friends. Today’s card features a die-cut sentiment cut from a stamped image…

""

To create this card, I started by stamping the plants from the Printmaking Plants stamp set on to white cardstock. This is a 6×8 layering stamp set and is so easy to line up. I really like that it colors in the images quickly with ink. I stamped the outline image first using black ink and then added color to each layer using the new colors from the Pawsitively Saturated Ink line. I used Spring, Tropic, Guava, and Cherry. I die-cut the stamped image piece using the Nested Dome Arches die. Next, I die-cut the Feel Better Soon die on top of the stamped image. I adhered the pieces in place but added black cardstock layers under the word die-cut only to give it dimension. I added crystal glaze to the words only to make it stand out even more. I added a pre printed sentiment strip under the image and adhered the piece to a kraft cardstock piece that I dry embossed a larger Nested Dome Arches die from.

I love the cool eclipse look it gives when you die-cut on top of a stamped image…

I also stamped the outline plant image on a flap of a green envelope to tie everything together…

I hope this inspires you to die-cut on top of a stamped image.

Thanks so much for joining me today. Have a great day!
