Hello. I’m sharing two cards today that feature the same card design, but with a few modifications…

For me, the hardest part of the card making process is coming up with the design. I wanted to share how I just changed up a few elements to make two different themed cards.

First up is the teacher card…

THIS stamp set is so sweet and it made me immediately think of a momma with her baby. However, it also works well for a teacher card. I’m a big fan of spoiling teachers as they take such good care of our kiddos and thought these adorable images would work well. I stamped, colored and cut them out and adhered them to a scene created with THESE papers and THIS and THIS die.

I used THIS teacher word die to go along with the sentiment that I white heat embossed and finished off the card with a couple of THESE clouds as well as a few of THESE flowers. I also added shine to the teacher die using this shimmer pen. Adding these feminine touches is perfect for this theme of card.

For the Dad card…

I took away the feminine touches and added THIS sentiment (cut with THESE dies) instead. Masculine cards can sometimes be tricky and I think less is more when it comes to guy cards.

I hope this inspires you to tweak your card design to get multiple cards. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
