Hello, crafty friends. I have a pocket card to share today…
To create this card, I started with a sheet of 12×12 double sided paper. I link to a bunch of great options below from Doodlebug. You can use a solid color piece of 12 x 12 cardstock but I really like having the two different prints of the double sided paper. I cut the piece down to 4 x 12 inches. I scored each side at 4 inches to create three sections. On the two end sections, I cut diagonally from the top corner to the inside corner to create a triangle flap on each side. I adhered the flap down at the bottom of the panel with thin, foam strips. I adhered the pockets to an A2 flat panel.
Next, I stamped and Copic colored the images from THIS stamp set and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also die cut THIS sentiment word die from black and white cardstock to add to the front of the card. I finished the front design with a sprinkling of THESE stars.
Now, for the inside panel of the pocket…
To create the inside panels, I die cut two nested shape dies. I used THIS set for the graduation card. I cut the mat from black and the smaller die shape from white. The white piece is were I will write a message to the recipient. I plan to add some money to the graduation card panel.
I used the sentiment and image from the stamp sets to create tabs on the top of the pull out piece so it’s easy to pull out of the pocket.
