Customized Wedding Card

Hello, crafty friends. My son recently got married and wanted to share the card I created for them. I love customizing cards for the recipient. In this case, I made the bride and groom look like them and incorporated their wedding colors.

To create this card, I started by embossing a gray piece of A2 cardstock with THIS embossing folder. I inked up the bottom with gray ink and adhered it to a top folding note card after spraying it heavily with THIS for some shine. Next, I die cut THIS border image and bow three times. I cut the inner piece down so there would be a grounding spot to the images and adhered it inside the frame. I added a strip of silver cardstock above that as well as a banner image along the top (from an older SSS set called Tied the Knot). I stamped and Copic colored THESE images and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I finished off the design with a stamped heart die cut between the bride and groom.

Here’s a closer look…

I also stamped the front of the envelope with a sentiment from the same stamp set to tie everything together…

Thanks for joining me today. Happy crafting!
