Hi, crafty friends. I’ve been sharing teacher appreciation cards all week and today’s project wraps up the week. If you missed any days, you can check them out here…
DAY ONE
DAY TWO
DAY THREE
DAY FOUR
Today’s card is a gatefold card…

To create this card, I started by creating the gatefold card base. I started with a half of sheet of cardstock (5.5 x 8.5). I scored each side at 2 1/8 inches to create two hinges. Next, I applied ink through THESE stencils to create a background on an A2 sized piece of teal cardstock. I cut the panel in half and adhered the two pieces to the two sides of the gatefold card. I used a corner rounder to round all the edges of the card as well as the inside edges of the opening.

Next, I adhered THESE sentiment strips on the background but m made sure to adhere them to one side only, so I didn’t glue the card closed. Here’s a closer look…

I finished it off with a few sequins and then applied ink through THIS stencil on the envelope flap…

Thank you for joining me this week. I hope I have inspired you to create a teacher appreciation card.
