Stitching Bunny Card

Hi there, crafty friends. Today’s card features adding a stitched element to your card design…
To create this card, I started by die cutting THIS bunny from cream cardstock and cream, pink, and black felt. I laid the felt piece on top of the cardstock piece and stitched all the way around the bunny. I added the cardstock behind the felt to give it more stability. I used glossy accents to adhere down the feet pieces as well as the other small pieces. I cut one of THESE hearts from felt and added it to the bunny’s chest.

For the background, I lightly swiped pink ink around the edges of a piece of A2 white cardstock using a mini ink cube, leaving the center white. I applied ink through THIS stencil on top. I stamped THIS sentiment on a strip of pink cardstock and adhered it along the bottom of the panel. I added a thin black strip of cardstock above that and then adhered the stitched bunny in the center of the card.

Here’s a closer look…

I applied ink through that same stencil on the flap of the envelope to tie everything together…

I hope this inspires you to add a stitched element to your next card.
