Hi, crafty friends. I have more inspiration to share using THIS new release…
To create this card, I started with the card base. I started with a half of sheet of cardstock (5.5 x 8.5). I scored each side at 2 1/8 inches to create two hinges. I applied green ink along the bottom to resemble grass and applied light blue ink on the edges of THIS stencil to create a sky background.
I die cut THESE flowers twice from colored cardstock and adhered them to each side of the flaps. I also die cut THIS gate die twice and adhered the pieces to each side on top of the flowers. I finished off the design with THIS pre printed sentiment and THIS butterfly die cut.
I love how the gatefold card design lends itself to the gate opening…
Here’s a closer look…
I stamped THIS background stamp on the flap of a 5×7 envelope. The card needs a larger envelope because some of the flowers hang off the side of the card.
