Hi there, crafty friends. Today’s card features THIS new card kit from Simon Says Stamp. Make sure you check out the bottom of this post for all the information on their new reinvented card kit subscription!
To create this card, I started by ink blending a butterfly silhouette with the kit’s oxide ink. I stamped the butterfly image from the kit’s stamp set on top and then a sentiment underneath from THIS add on stamp set. I embossed the panel with THIS add on stencil in my embossing machine with THIS embossing mat to create an impression and add texture. I laid the coordinating butterfly mask on top of the image to protect it from the flicks of black splatter I added in the background. I finished off the design with a couple of strips of cardstock along the bottom.

I also embossed the stencil pattern on the flap of the envelope to tie everything together…
