Hello there, crafty friends. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so I thought I’d share the gifts I’m giving Aiden’s teachers this year. I love to incorporate crafting with my gift giving to add details….

I purchased these adorable baskets at Target. I love that they came with three charms to pop into the heart holes on the front. I thought it needed a little detail so I die cut THIS die cut to place in the center of the basket and stamped THIS heart and used THIS coordinating die to cut it out. I die cut THESE alphabet letters to adhere to each heart. I used the first initial of each teacher’s name so they could identify which one is there basket, since they all have different contents. I adhered the heart to a skewer so it would stand up tall.

To keep the heart upright in the back of the basket. I used a piece of ribbon and tied the skewer to the basket using two of the heart holes in the back.

To attach the die cut sentiment…

I used two of THESE snap and slide discs. I adhered the die cut to to one end of the snap and slide and then snapped the other side on inside the basket. I use two because the die is so long but you could use only one for smaller die cuts…

I checked and they also work on another bag I have with holes. It’s not a BOGG bag, but similar. I think it depends on the thickness of the bag if it will work on others. Anyway, I’m already thinking of all the fun charms I can add to my bag using these discs!
Here’s a closer look at one of the completed baskets…

For the inside, I put each teacher’s favorite snacks. I love that our school has the teachers fill out a favorites form in the beginning of the year. It makes it so nice to know exactly what they will like…

I hope this has inspires you to add handmade details to your gift giving.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting!
