Hi, crafty friends. I love leaving images black and white and adding color around it like in today’s card….

To create this card, I started by stamping the images from THIS stamp set on the front of a white note card. I die cut THESE coordinating dies from masking paper and laid it over the stamped images. Next, I used strips of masking paper to mask off stripes. I ink blended Distress Oxide inks in the unmasked openings to create a pattern. I white heat embossed a sentiment on a black piece of cardstock from the same stamp set and adhered it on an angle along the bottom of the card.

To step up the technique, I die cut the butterfly images from the front panel of the card and stamped the images on the inside of the card…

I also stamped the front of the envelope with the flower image using purple ink for a tone on tone look…
