Hi, crafty friends. Today’s card features THIS new release from Simon Says Stamp. I used my favorite product from the release. I’m loving THIS die…
To create this card, I started by embossing a piece of pink cardstock with THIS embossing folder. I die cut a piece of black glossy cardstock with THIS stitched rectangle die. I die cut THIS die from colored cardstock. For the blue icing, I covered the piece with VersaMark ink and sprinkled on sparkle embossing powder and heat set it for some sparkle and shine. I adhered the piece on the embossed background. I added one of THESE sentiments.

I embossed the flap of the envelope with the same embossing folder I used for the background…

Heart to Heart
For the black layer did you use an entire layer or just a frame around the embossed pink? Really like the color choices.

Hi, Sally. The black layer is a mat BUT I did cut some of the center out of it that was hidden behind the pink panel because it is specialty glossy black and I didn’t want to waste any that would not be seen. Hope that makes sense. Have a great day!
