Hi, crafty friends. Today’s cards were so fun to make and they pop up when removed from the envelope. They were inspired by a video lesson taught by Jennifer McGuire in THIS Online Card Classes…

To create these cards, you need to die cut any shape that is symmetrical six times. You adhere together three of the shapes together and three for the other side. You adhered the two pieces next to each other but leave a small gap between them. This way, you can fold it down to slip in an envelope and when the recipient pulls the card out, it will pop up…

For the Christmas tree card, I die cut THESE dies. I adhered the pieces on a background using THIS patterned paper that I dry embossed THIS rectangle stitched die around the border…

I used THIS embossing folder on the envelope flaps…

Since I used larger dies, I decided to put the sentiment on the inside. I stamped THIS sentiment on the tree…

For the apple card, I die cut an older apple die from Lawn Fawn. For both cards, I die cut two different shades of colors for extra dimension…

What I love about the die sets I used is that they come with a large, medium, and small size of the shape. I wanted to go big and used the largest but you could make these cards with any size included.
Here’s a closer look…

I stamped THIS sentiment on the inside…
