Sugar and Spice Release Blog Hop

Hello, crafty friends. Today’s cards are part of THIS Blog Hop celebrating THIS new release…
To create the first card, I started by applying a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks through THIS stencil.

I spritzed the piece with THIS shimmer spray for some sparkle and shine. Once dry, I laid THIS coordinating die in place and dry embossed it with THIS mat in my die cut machine. This just makes an impression and makes the image pop more. I finished off the design by adding THIS sentiment and a few of THESE embellishments. I also rounded all four corners.

Here’s a closer look…

For the second card, I sprayed the ink that was left on the stencil from the first card with the same shimmer spritz heavily and laid it on a piece of cardstock to get a reverse image. I like to call this stencil stamping…

Once dry, I did the same dry embossing as the first card and added a different sentiment from the same stamp set and s few of the same embellishments.

Here’s a closer look…

I also dry embossed the flap of each envelope with THIS word die set…

I hope this inspires you to try some stencil stamping along with some dry embossing.

There is much more inspiration to see…
