Hi, crafty friends. I haven’t used my watercolors in awhile so I’d thought I would break those out to create a quick and easy background…
I started by embossing a panel of THIS watercolor cardstock with THIS embossing folder. Next, I applied THESE watercolors to cover the entire background and create a quick background. I spritzed it with water for added interest. After it was completely dry, I added THIS die cut sentiment that I cut from THIS and THIS glossy cardstock. I also added a strip of black along the bottom of the card as well as a strip of THIS gold matte cardstock. I used the gold cardstock to cut some of THESE stars as well.
It’s hard to capture the texture of the embossing but here is a closer look…
I used the same embossing folder and embossed the flap of THIS gold envelope…
