Bold Flower Thank You Card

Hello there, crafty friends. Today’s card features a unique card opening…

To create this card, I adhered a peach colored piece of A2 cardstock to the front of a top folding white note card. I stamped THIS background using peach ink on a lighter peach of A2 cardstock. I trimmed a bit off the sides. I cut the stamped piece at an angle and adhered the pieces on the front of the notecard and made another angle cut to create a unique opening. I adhered the bottom piece directly to the inside of the card.

Here’s a closer look at how it opens…

I stamped a sentiment on the inside of the card along the angle from THIS stamp set. Next, I die cut THIS flower from colored cardstock and adhered it along the flap opening after adding a small strip of cardstock along the angle. I stamped a sentiment from THIS sentiment and used THESE coordinating dies to cut it out. I adhered it below the flower as well as a few of THESE die cut hearts.

I also stamped the flap of the envelope with THIS same background stamp…

I hope this inspires you to create a card with a unique opening.

Thanks for visiting. Happy crafting!
