Hello there, crafty friends. Today’s my birthday so I thought I would share a birthday themed card…
To create this card, I applied pink ink through a honeycomb pattern stencil (an older stencil from Honey Bee Stamps) on an A2 panel of white cardstock. I die cut a hexagon shape to create a window and added a stamp bee image from THIS stamp set behind it. I colored it in with Copics and added a few of THESE hearts cut from THIS glossy cardstock. I added a black hexagon frame around the window by cutting a larger size hexagon with the smaller hexagon I used for the window. I finished off the design with a white heat embossed sentiment from the same stamp set. I also colored two thin strips of cardstock with a Copic marker and adhered one to the top and bottom of the sentiment. I rounded all four corners of the card.
I stamped the flap of the envelope with a small bee image from the same stamp set to tie everything together…
Thanks for visiting. Happy crafting!
