Hello, crafty friends. I’m sharing more inspiration using THIS new release. Today’s card is all about getting more looks from your stencils…
To create this card, I started by applying Pink Distress Oxide Ink through THIS stencil on an A2 piece of white cardstock. Once dry, I shifted the stencil patten over and applied Yellow Distress Oxide Ink on top. It gives such a fun look and really stretches the use of your stencils. I adhered the panel to the front of a side folding note card and then cut one inch off the right side. I adhered that patterned piece that I cut off to the inside of the card, creating a unique card opening. Here’s a closer look at that…
I cut a thin strip of pink cardstock and adhered it to the right side of the open flap for a more finished look. I cut THIS die from pink and white cardstock and adhered it to the front of the note card along with THESE flowers. I finished off the sentiment with a printed “happy” from THIS sentiment strip set.
Here’s a closer look…
I also stamped the flap of the envelope with one of THESE sentiments to tie everything together…
I hope this inspires you to try some shifting with your stencils to create new looks.
Thanks for visiting. Happy crafting!
