Hello there, crafty friends. I’m sharing more inspiration using THIS new release. Today’s card is a spinner card…

To create this card, I started by stamping a bunny image from THIS stamp set twice. I colored them with Copic Markers and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered them together sandwiching a piece of string between them for the spinning mechanism. The die cuts do not line up perfectly because the whiskers are not 100% symmetrical but I think it works out fine.
Next, I temporarily adhered a piece of cardstock to the front of a notecard and die cut a circle from it and the front of the note card to create a window. I removed the peach piece and embossed it with THIS embossing folder. I adhered it permanently back in place after adhering the string with the die cuts in the center of the circle. I use THIS strong tape to secure it tight. Once the string is sandwich in between the layers of the cardstock and the front of the notecard, you can spin the string to wind it up and then close the card. When the recipient opens the card, the bunny image will spin.
You can see it in action HERE. (You have to swipe through the post photos to see the video)

I finished it off by adding a gray circle mat around the opening by die cutting a larger circle with the smaller circle inside. I adhered a stamped sentiment from the same stamp set under the circle. I added a larger circle die cut on the inside cut from THIS patterned paper…

I created an envelope with THIS die. You can find more information about this envelope HERE.

I hope this inspires you to add an interactive element to your next card.
