Hello again, crafty friends. Today’s card features THIS Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp…
To create this card, I started by stamping the tree images from the kit’s stamp set on a piece of patterned paper. I trimmed it down and added a foil mat to it using one of the specialty cardstocks in the kit. I adhered it to a teal panel that I added a strip of glitter paper along the bottom. I stamped and colored the birds from the stamp set as well as a coordinating sentiment and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. The coordinating dies are not included in the kit but you can purchase them separately HERE. I also cut a bow from the same pink glitter cardstock using the die in the kit and adhered the birds to either end of the ribbon ends.
I die cut the same bow a second time and trimmed the center piece from that to adhere to the top of the original die cut to add some dimension…
I also embossed the flap of the envelope with the kit’s embossing folder to tie everything together…
