Happy Valentine’s Day, crafty friends. I have a shaker card to share today…
To create this card, I started by applying Pink and Red Distress Oxide Inks through THESE layering stencils. I used the lighter shade of each color for the wonky squares and the darker shade for the wonky hearts. I like to start with a 6×6 piece of white cardstock since it’s the same size as the stencil. This way, I can cut down the portion I like best and have some of the pattern leftover.
After trimming it down to an A2 size, I stamped works on top of some of the hearts from THIS and THIS stamp set. I laid the piece face down in one of THESE shaker panels and adhered down three sides of the shaker leaving the top open. I added some sequins inside the pocket and then sealed the shaker panel closed. I adhered the piece on top of a white top folding note card.
I stamped the main sentiment from THIS stamp set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut it out. I adhered it on top of the shaker panel using glossy accents.
I used the stencil to add one heart to the flap of the envelope and stamped a sentiment from THIS stamp set…
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!
