Hi there, crafty friends. I love adding foil to my cards to add some shine and using printed Foil Transfer Cards make it easy to create quick backgrounds…
To create these cards, I started by laying THIS foil (pretty side up) on top of THESE foil cards and running them through THIS machine to add the foil to the toner parts. I love that the pack includes two different designs. The first design has toner just on the hearts…
Next, I applied pink and purple Distress ink on top of the foiling to add color to the white background and spritzed it with THIS for some texture and sparkle. I cut the panel using THIS oval die. I also used a larger die from that set and cut out a black mat to go around the foil piece. I adhered the piece to a side folding notecard that was covered with an A2 purple panel that was embossed with THIS embossing folder. I finished it off with THIS die cut sentiment THIS and THIS printed sub sentiment.

I also applied ink through THIS stencil (which has the same pattern as the foil cards) on the flap of the envelope…
The second card was created the same way but I used the other foil card where the background was printed in toner instead of the hearts. I used THIS gold foil for the background and used the same Distress Ink to blend on top to add color to the hearts.
Here’s a closer look…
I hope this inspires you to add some foiling to your next card project.
Thanks for joining me today. Happy crafting!
