Hello, crafty friends. I have anencouragement card to share today featuring lots of die cutting…
To create this card, I started by die cutting THESE mushroom dies from Concord & 9th cardstock. I used a light shade and a dark shade of each color. I put all of the mushroom tops in a box and flicked on some of THIS to add some speckles. I squeezed out a small amount of the white gesso on an acrylic block, pick it up with a paintbrush, and flick it on. Next, I adhered the pieces together and added one of THESE die cut hearts to each mushroom.
For the background, I did cut THIS die from cream cardstock. For the inner pieces of the postage, I embossed them with THIS embossing folder to add some texture. I applied a bit of ink to the bottom of each piece to make them stand out more. I adhered the mushroom pieces on top and finished it off with a stamped sentiment from THIS stamp set using coordinating ink colors.
Here’s a closer look…
I also stamped the flap of the envelope with images from the same stamp set…
Thanks for joining me. Have a great day!
