Valentine Treat Boxes

Howdy, crafty friends. Today’s crafty share is the Valentine’s treat boxes I created for my son’s teachers. These would be fun to make for anyone, not just teachers…
To create these boxes, I purchased these at Target…
They come two in a pack and are very affordable. I like to give gifts that are wrapped in a container or basket that can be reused.

Next, I added some holographic shred and then added in some Valentine candy and treats…

I snapped it shut and tied a decorative ribbon around each box and added a tag that holds a gift card to a local ice cream shop….

To create the tags….
I die cut THIS die from colored cardstock and stamped the tag with THIS background stamp using a matching ink for a tone on tone monochromatic look. I really like how this tag is designed to create a pocket to hold a gift card. I die cut the circle from the same die set using a coordinating color of cardstock. I used it as a mat for cutting THIS stitched circle die cut from THIS white glitter paper. I stamped the heart with the sentiment from THIS stamp set.

To finish it off, my sweet friend Kelly Bertram, cut their names from white vinyl on her silhouette machine so each box could be personalized…
I love personalizing gifts for that extra touch.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you are inspired to create a treat box for a loved one.
