Adding Texture over Stamping

Hi there, crafty friends. I love to add in texture whenever I can. Lately, I have been embossing over a stamped panel to add texture and just love the result it gives…

To create this card, I started by stamping THESE images on a white panel cut with THIS die. I colored in the images with Copic Markers and added texture on top by embossing it with THIS embossing folder.

I love the dimension it gives to a simple design…

I finished off the design by adhering the panel to a black scalloped rectangle card base. I created it using the larger die in THIS set. I cut two black panels and scored at the top of the inside panel piece. I added glue to the top of the scored line to create a hinge. I also added THIS to the flowers for some shine and added some of THESE hearts cut with holographic cardstock.

I stamped one of the flower images on the front of an envelope to tie it all together…

I hope this inspires you to try adding embossing over a stamped image to add dimension.

Thank you for visiting. Have a great day!
