Hi there, crafty friends. I am very honored to be teaming up with my friend Michelle Lupton today. She is CASEing one of my cards and I am CASEing one of hers for her Holiday Card Series.
I decided to CASE THIS card by Michelle….
I love how she added white die cuts on top of a colorful background.
Here is my take on her card design…
To create this card, I started by applying alcohol inks to THIS Yupo paper. I always start with a coating of rubbing alcohol on the Yupo paper before dropping on the alcohol inks. This really helps with the movement and blending.
The alcohol inks I used are Citrus, Limeade, Red Pepper, Gumball, and Sterling Alloy. Next, I die cut THIS die from THIS woodgrain cardstock and two more out of white cardstock. I adhered them all together for dimension making sure the woodgrain die cut was on top. I sprayed it with THIS for some shine and then adhered it to the alcohol ink background.
I added THIS border around it cut from silver matte cardstock. I also cut the berries from it and adhered them in place. I finished off the design by adding THIS and THIS printed sentiment strip.
Here’s a closer look…
Make sure to visit Michelle’s blog HERE to see what card she created inspired by one of my cards.
Thank you so much for joining me today. Happy crafting!
