Hi there, crafty friends. I have several cards to share today that are all inspired from THIS class from Online Card Classes….
Have you ever taken a class over at Online Card Classes? If not, I highly recommend them. Once you purchase any OCC class, you have lifetime access to the class content. This means you can take your time and take the lessons at your convenience. There is no rush and you can refer back to the class content at any time.
I’m not going to go into the details of making the cards because the class explains everything in such great detail.
Before I get to the cards, I did want to share a few tips when taking this class…
1. Pick a color combo. I used all Concord & 9th colors. I used Sprout, Peacock, Pink Lemonade, Oceanside, and Honeysuckle. This way you can take the guess work out of the color choices when making your cards for every lesson and this will help you create faster.
2. Shop your stash. I used THIS class kit when creating my cards but you don’t have to. The techniques will work with any similar products.
3. I would suggest watching each lesson all the way through before starting to create. That way you can take in all the information and gather the supplies you want to use. Then you can go back and make along with the instructor, pausing along the way.
Okay, now back to the cards…
The first batch of cards were inspired by Day One of class and it was a lesson taught by Jaycee Gaspar…
I did my own spin on his layered snowflakes and turned them into ornaments…
The next set of cards were inspired by Day Two of Class and it was a lesson taught by Laura Bassen…
I used THIS embossing folder on top of the strips to create more texture…
The best part of creating cards is when you have pieces left over from one set of cards to create another set of cards. I used the negative die cuts from the card panels above to create these cards…
For my last set of cards, I was inspired by Day Five of class and it was a repetitive stamping lesson taught by Laura Bassen…
And just like that, I have 15 cards ready to give this Holiday Season. All these were created from just three lessons in class. I have many more videos and lessons to watch will result in even more cards!
