Festive Fun Blog Hop-Day 2

Hello, crafty friends. Today’s card is part of THIS Blog Hop celebrating THIS new release. It is actually part two of THIS card that I shared yesterday….

When I foiled the card from yesterday, I was left with the negative of the pattern. I didn’t want that piece to go to waste so I laid it on top of one of THESE White Poly-Glaze Sheets and ran it through my MINC machine. I love that you can get two backgrounds from one technique.

Here are the cards side by side…
The card on the left from yesterday’s post was applying the foil to one of THESE foil transfer cards. I used that negative piece to create the background on today’s card on the right.

I finished off the card design by adding a snowbank along the bottom using THIS die, adding THIS gingerbread house, stamping THIS sentiment, and a sprinkling of THESE hearts…

I used THIS on the details for some shine….

I also embossed the flap of the envelope with THIS embossing folder to tie everything together…

So what’s your favorite? Yesterday’s card or today’s card?

I just love the gingerbread house. Your coloring is amazing. I just can’t seem to get there with my coloring. It looks yummy too. The hearts coming from the chimney are so perfect.
