Hi, crafty friends. Today’s interactive slimline card features THIS new release from Simon Says Stamp…
To create this card, I started by stamping the image and sentiment from THIS stamp set. I stamped the snowball image on pearl cardstock and stamped the sentiment on white cardstock. I used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. Next, I covered a slimline card base with a panel of the same specialty cardstock. I cut another piece of teal cardstock the length of the slimline card base. I cut THIS die in the center two times across the panel to make a track for the snowball to slide. I stamped it with smaller images and white heat embossed two smaller snowflake images from the same stamp set. I adhered it down with three layers of foam tape to add dimension and give room for the slider piece to move.
I slipped a penny inside the track and adhered the larger snowball image to it using foam adhesive. When the recipient tilts the card, the snowball moves back and forth…
Here’s a closer look…
I finished off the design with a few of THESE embellishments…
Thanks so much for visiting today. Happy crafting!
