My first project is two cards  featuring THIS Card Kit of the Month….

I stamped the cling background stamp on an A2 panel of teal and pink cardstock and used a blending brush to ink blend the edges. I cut them in half so I would have two panels to adhere to the gatefold card base opening flaps. I white heat embossed the image from the kit’s stamp set and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I adhered the pieces to the flap, making sure only half of the piece was adhered so the card would open freely. I adhered the tree image to the right side and the sentiment to the left side.

I also stamped the flap of THESE envelopes with a different image from the stamp set…

For my second project, I used THIS stencil…

I started by white heat embossing the background stamp from the Card Kit. I applied ink through THIS stencil. I masked off each square to apply different colors in different areas.

After I adhered it to the front flap of the card base, I cut along the lines and adhered the right side directly to the inside of the card. It makes for an unexpected surprise when the recipient opens the card…

I white heat embossed a sentiment from THIS stamp set on black cardstock and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I adhered it to the panel only adding adhesive to the left side so the card will open easily. I finished off the design with enamel dots.
