Hi there, crafty friends. Today’s card features THIS STAMPtember collaboration stamp set from Mama Elephant…
To create this card, I started by stamping the main image from THIS stamp set and coloring it with Copic Markers. I used THESE coordinating dies to cut it out. I white heat embossed one of the stamp set’s sentiments on a piece of kraft cardstock. Next, I partially die cut the panel with one of THESE rectangles die. I die cut the bottom and both sides but left the top of the die hanging out from the top plate in my die cut machine so it would not cut that line. This creates a hinge to open. I adhered the kraft piece on top of a note card with foam tape to add dimension for the give card inside. I adhered the colored image above the sentiment and added a green frame around the edges along with a red strip along the bottom of the rectangle.
When the recipient opens the flap…
a gift card is inside…
I stamped an older background stamp (from Simon Says Stamp called Holiday Stems and Berries) on the inside of the card as well as the coordinating envelope. I die cut the red panel on the inside with THIS gift card die to make slots to hold the gift card.
Thanks so much for visiting today. Happy STAMPtember!
P.S. This set is a STAMPtember limited edition. Once it sells out, it will be gone for good. No restocking on these special sets.
