Sending Love Sunflower Card

Hello again, crafty friends. I have a 5×5 square card to share today…

To create this card, I applied ink through THESE layering stencils to create a sunflower background. I used a darker cardstock so to make the inks stay bright, I used Distress Oxide inks. Because of the ink’s pigment properties, it will stay bright on dark colored cardstocks. Instead of using the last layer of the stencils, I just added some white dots with THIS pen. I die cut THIS sunflower from white cardstock and ink blended on top using the same colors of ink. I adhered it to the center of the panel and added THIS die cut word on top. I rounded the bottom two corners of the card and added one of THESE hearts cut with gold cardstock to the opening of the “o” in love.
Here’s a closer look…

Since this card measures 5×5, I will use a square envelope to place it in.

Thanks so much for joining me today. Happy crafting!
