Hi again, crafty friends. Today’s card features THIS new card kit…
The kit contains multiple white tags so I thought it would be fun and different to create a tag card. I started by applying Distress Oxide ink to the inside of the kit’s embossing folder. I applied it on the flat side, not the raised side. Next, I spritzed it with water, laid my tag inside and ran it through my die cut machine. It creates a beautiful faux watercolor look…
I die cut the butterfly die from the kit from the gold metallic cardstock and used the vellum to add behind it. I adhered it down to the tag along with a gold heat embossed sentiment using the kit’s stamp set as well as the sequins. To create a card, I scored the top of the second tag towards the top and added adhesive above the line. This creates a hinge for the tag to open like a card.
Since I adhered the sentiment and die cut hanging off the tag, I will use a larger, 5×7 envelope to put it in.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
