Hi there, crafty friends. I have a 5×7 card to share today featuring THIS new card kit from Simon Says Stamp.
To create this card, I started by spritzing a 5×7 piece of blue cardstock (included in the kit) with the kit’s Peacock Feather’s Distress Spritz. I die cut the beautiful buttercup die from the kit using the patterned paper included and green cardstock. I adhered the flowers along the bottom of the card. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set using black pigment ink and clear embossed it to add some shine. I used THESE coordinating dies to cut out the sentiment and adhered it above the flowers.
It’s difficult to capture the shine of the Distress Spritz but it really catches the light nicely…
I stamped the flap of the envelope using the large floral from the stamp set to tie everything together…
