Baby Girl Card

Hello, crafty friends. Today’s card share is a card I made for a friend’s baby shower…

To create this card, I swiped THIS trio of yellow ink across a white A2 panel to create an ombre look. These three yellow inks are new additions to the Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks and they are fantastic! Once dry, I used the same colors and applied the ink through THIS stencil for a tone on tone look. I used THIS die to cut it out and added a white mat around it before adding it to a colored note card.

Next, I die cut THIS die from vellum and adhered it to the center of the card to create a focal point for the sentiment. For the sentiment I die cut the GIRL word (an older die) from two colors of pink cardstock. I cut one of each letter in half and adhered it on top of the other for a completely different look. I also added some of THIS printed sentiment strips as well as a few of THESE flowers. I used THESE embellishments for the flower centers.
I also applied ink through the same stencil on the flap of the envelope to tie everything together…
Thank you so much for joining me today. Happy crafting!
