Partial Embossed Note Card Set + Giveaway

Hello, crafty friends. Today’s cards were inspired by Day One of THIS new Embossing Folder class from Online Card Classes…

Mindy Eggen shared some examples of partial embossing and I thought I would experiment with THIS glossy Color Blend Cardstock. I LOVE the results. I used THIS stamp set and THIS coordinating die set for all of the sentiments.

For the first card…

I used THIS embossing folder to emboss the bottom of the panel and adhered the sentiment towards the top.

Here’s a closer look…

For the second card…

I partially embossed the top half with THIS embossing folder and adhered the sentiment towards the bottom.

For the next card…

I partially embossed the top part of the panel with THIS embossing folder.

I just love the shine of the color blend cardstock…

The next card used THIS embossing folder…

The final card…

was partially embossed with THIS embossing folder.

I finished off all the cards by adding a small strip of THIS cardstock cut with THIS die. I also cut THESE hearts from the same cardstock add more shine.

I hope this inspires you to try partial embossing on your next project.

My favorite card is the blue “Hello how have you been” card. I really like the look of all of these and I’m inspired to make a set of note cards using this technique! Thanks for sharing!

So pretty! I love them all, I think the yellow/green is my favorite but after seeing the yellow/orange one up close, I think that one ties for first!

They are all beautiful but I think the yellow and green hi card stands out to me- who can’t go past a cheerful yellow card😄
