Hello, crafty friends. I have a mini slimline shaker card to share today…
To create this card, I started ink blending the front of a white mini slimline card. I used post it tape to make off the top portion and blended green ink along the bottom to create “grass”. Next, I masked off the green and ink blended blue ink above to create the “sky”. I used a light hand for the ink blending and then came in with a heavier hand and ink blended the same color through THIS stencil to add a pattern.
To create the shaker part, I die cut one of THESE rectangle frames several times and adhered them together to create the walls of the shaker. Before adhering the final rectangle piece on top, I filled the shaker with THESE sequins. Next, I sandwiched a piece of acetate in between the shaker walls and the final rectangle frame die on top.
To finish the design, I stamped an image from THIS stamp set, colored it with Copic Markers, and stamped a sentiment along the bottom of the card from the same set.
Here’s a closer look…
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.
