Hi, crafty friends. Today’s cards are part of THIS fun Blog Hop celebrating THIS new release. These cards were made from THESE cards that I shared yesterday doing stencil stamping…
After inking up yesterday’s cards, there was a lot of ink left on the stencil. I spritzed that ink with water and “stamped” the stencil on to a piece of white cardstock. This gives a whole new look to the stencil pattern. You get the reverse pattern because you are stamping the solid pieces of the stencil pattern.
For the first card…
I stamped the floral image from THIS stamp set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut it out. I adhered it to the background along with THIS die cut word and THIS sub sentiment that I added silver foil to with my MINC machine. I finished off the design with THESE sequins…
For the second card…
I stamped the other floral image from the same stamp set and stamped a sentiment from the set directly on the background. I finished off the card with some of THESE embellishments.
I also used THIS embossing mat with my die cut machine to dry emboss the stencil on the flap of the image.
Here’s a look at each card with the original card to show the different looks you can get with stencil stamping…

Love that you used the leftover ink spritzed with water, we’re proud of your frugalness and certainly shows me how to do things right because the results are great! Oh and the hands on knitting card is too clever!!! My mom was a knitter and she always used my hands for that task, a sweet memory. Thanks so much for sharing.
