Hi there, crafty friends. I’m all about the layering stencils lately and today’s card features THIS one…
I started by applying ink through the three layers of stencils using a light, medium, and dark ink in the same color family. I LOVE that they label each stencil with what shade of ink to use. It takes out all of the guess work. I also added the string of dots from the stencils around each butterfly to fill in the space. I spritzed the entire panel with THIS shimmer spritz for some shine and sparkle.
I added THIS die cut word that I cut from holographic cardstock as well as THESE hearts. I also added three colored mats behind the panel to bring out all of the three colors of butterflies.
I inked up the string of dots in all three colors of butterflies on the flap of the envelope to tie everything together.
