Hi, crafty friends. I have a Birthday card to share today featuring THIS new card kit…
To create this card, I started with a 6×6 piece of white cardstock and stamped an image from THIS stamp set (included in the kit) towards the top center. I rotated the cardstock 180 degrees in my MISTI and stamped again. I did the same process for the image on the right and left. I continued in the corners to fill out the design. I colored in all of the images with Copic Markers in a rainbow pattern. I trimmed down the panel using one of THESE dies and cut another one from white cardstock for the card base. For the card base, I scored a line about 3/4 of an inch from the top and put adhesive above the line. It creates a hinge for the card to open easily.
I finished off the card by stamping a sentiment from the same stamp set in the center opening. I also used the small stars images to fill in some of the gaps in the design. I also used the glitter pens (included in the kit) to outline some of the details of the stamped images to make them sparkle.
I stamped the same image on the flap of the envelope to tie everything together…
